Hi — Carol Tice here. Yes, I am a real person. That’s a shot of me on the right there, on a recent vacation to a warm lake in Canada (I know! Who knew they had one?). I am a journalist, business writer, and blogger. Besides writing this blog, I founded the writer support and learning community Freelance Writers Den in 2011 (see that “Writer Community” tab up top for more on that). I’ve earned a full-time living from writing since the early ’90s, and have freelanced for over a decade, for clients including Forbes, Entrepreneur, Alaska Airlines Magazine, Costco, American Express, Dun & Bradstreet, Lending Tree, and many more.
I look forward to seeing you on the blog comments!
I’m Seattle freelance writer Carol Tice, and I’ve been fielding questions from freelance writers since 2008, here on the Make a Living Writing blog.
Now, we’ve created a handy e-book with *all* the classic questions writers ask, along with my frank, no-bull answers — and it’s my free gift to you, just for signing up to receive my blog updates. (The blog posts you’ll receive are full of helpful insights, too!)
Often, writers run up against a roadblock in their freelancing, and get stuck. They don’t know who to ask or how to find out what they need to know. If that’s you — I’m here to help. We cover every type of question you might have in freelance writing today in 100+ Freelance Writing Questions Answered.
We call it 100 because this e-book answers so many questions, we stopped counting! Whether you’re brand new to writing or freelancing, or a seasoned hand, you’ll find useful tips in here.
